Tambot taps into an $8B market and is providing monthly tampon delivery.

We offer nothing short of convenience, quality, and affordability.

Our Opportunity

25 days of buffering and 5 days of suffering.

Problem Worth Solving

Women lack a good, affordable solution to the monthly pain of buying tampons at the supermarket. It's embarrassing, annoying, and a downright chore. Women live in fear that it might come early, and that at any moment we might be exposed.

Our Solution

We offer a better alternative. Or period insurance shall we say - tampons delivered to your front door, in a timely fashion. We're sick of seeing other start-ups charge double that of the supermarket. Tambot is fair, classy, yet simple.

Target Market

85M Prospects

Market size: $10.2B

Our target market is any female with a 9 to 5, a woman who very frequently has spent half a meeting worrying if it's her time of the month.

Revenue Forecast

  • $13 per pack recurring charge.
  • Charge assessed every month.
  • $10 estimate direct cost (improves with quantity)
  • Predicted 5% churn rate.

The Competition

Supermarkets. How our solution is better: Convenience

HelloFlo. How our solution is better: Brand recognition, affordability, opportunity to win something more substantial than free yoga classes.

Further details available in our business plan.

Monthly Giveaways: Gambling with your vagina.

How it works.

Our monthly giveaways are currently limited to high-end popular products such as clothing, edibles, scents, or furniture. A lot of our collabs are with LA start-ups who we've met along the way.

Any subscriber signed up on any particular month qualifies.

We eventually want to get to a level where our giveaways will include but aren't limited to: tickets to Coachella, flights/getaways, access to exclusive events, and other lasting experiences or products women want.

Funding Needed: $300K

We will bring on a dedicated team for marketing and brand recognition, becoming the go-to subscription service for monthly tampon delivery.

If you walk out onto Abbot Kinney today, ask 10 women where they get their tampons from, their answers still aren't any one company. We know cause we've tried.

There's an opportunity here.

Sales and Marketing

Sales Channels

We will sell and deliver directly to our target customers through our website - www.tambot.com.

Inventory

We hold $500 of inventory per month.

Fulfillment and Shipping

Our team packages and ships our boxes out monthly.

Cancellation and Returns

Full refund for cancellations 15 days before shipment, full refund on damaged product, minus cost of shipping and handling ($3).

Marketing Activities

Currently, we have over a thousand eyes on FB and launched our Instagram campaign this July. Our marketing thus far has been limited to FB and female blogs such as Autostraddle. We're currently in talks to do a segment with KFI AM 640 with Mark Thompson and the #womenintech podcast.

We will also work with Channel Factory; we want to have at least one witty video to spark buzz.

Ultimately, trust and word-of-mouth will help convert prospects into customers.

Our Product

Keeping it simple with one subscription level.
